ABOUT US:
We are similar to the two great foundations that help alcohol/drug addicts and disable persons.
Additionally our program is also modeled after a federal government corporation that has been in existence for decades and is responsible for the output of a variety of products in most industries to federal departments/agencies and turning around the lives of those who are in the program.
We teach our tenants the similarities of all major religions. To respect the belief systems of others and we use Science of Mind, not a religion, to show that there is One Infinite Mind which of necessity includes all that is, whether it be the intelligence in man, the life in the animal, or the invisible Presence which is God. Tenants will learn to have a spiritual sense of things.
The spiritual side of our program does not advocate that a person believe in a certain religion, but we help the talented homeless men, women, seniors and the disable to seek to become one with the power of “God” with in them, without or whether they are of a particular religious belief. The goal is to help them see that the creator does not create any junk.
The “G”, stands for “God”, the “R” for recovery, the “A” for academics, the “M” for mind, the “E” for education, the second “E” for employment, the “D” for dating, the “I” for insurance, the “R” for real estate, the “S” for securities, the “E” for entrepreneurialism and finally the stands for “L” for law.
Each month after the successfully passing a thirty (30) class, the tenants will receive a “Letter” as mentioned above.
THE STORY:
Whether you are with the Democratic, Republican, Libertarian, Independent, Green or other political party, we know that you would agree that able bodied homeless men, women and the disable need to become self sufficient law abiding citizens, by returning back to work.
Homeless shelters are primarily for the chronically homeless. These shelters are not for homeless men, women and the disable who work or want to work, simply because the shelter environment is not conducive to becoming a productive citizen.
Hud under the 2005 Continuum of Care and the 2006 Emergency Shelter Grants Award program, provided approximately $1.18 billion to competitive programs around the country. And $160 million to emergency shelter programs in the form of grants. From the aforementioned fund $220,743,568.00 went to the State of California. And the State of California gave $60,448,441.00 to the County of Los Angeles. In 2006-2007 approximately $1.205 billion ($1,205,527,499) was awarded for competitive programs and $160 million ($160,000,000) to emergency shelter programs in the form of grants. From the aforementioned fund $214,779,505.00 went to the state of California. And the State of California gave $52,521,696.00 to the County of Los Angeles. In 2007-2008 approximately $1.326 billion ($1,326,000,000) was being awarded for competitive programs. HUD also announced awards for $160 million ($160,000,000) to emergency shelter programs in the form of grants. From the aforementioned fund $241,663,670.00 went to the State of California. And the State of California gave $67,553,854.00 to the County of Los Angeles (for more information on these numbers, including the cities, counties, states, shelters and churches that received this money please visit www.hud.gov/offices/cpd/homeless/budget/2007/index.cfm or just log onto www.hud.gov and enter into Hud’s seach bar:2005 or 2006 or 2007 Continuum of care grant awards. From there you will see the awarded amount for the entire country. Below that paragraph you will see a map of theUnited States of America. Then just click on the State you are seeking information on. Then you will know that this is a commodity game of using the homeless to make money or there wise known as exploitation).
THE PROBLEM:
Despite receiving all this money, the State ofCalifornia, its counties, cities and particularlyLos AngelesCounty, still hasn’t, as of 2008, solved its homeless problem.
When the election season comes the homeless and the disable are either disenfranchised or franchised for the specific gainful purpose of candidates running for office and usually it’s the incumbent of a particular district and party that has the largest homeless and disable population that will exploit the homeless for their vote or disenfranchise them so they can’t vote. During election time the homeless, disable and the shelters they live in will be treated with amenities that they normally wouldn’t receive during any other time. So it should be obvious to most of us that the homeless have become the new commodity that makes the States, shelters and other non profits across this nation additional revenue well into the hundreds of millions of dollars annually.
And when there is not an election, they homeless are being mistreated in hospitals, dumped upon leaving the jails and hospitals into various communities, such as downtownLos Angeles, urban and suburban areas.
In 2004 at a shelter inLos Angeles, 25 plus women, went to the Los Angeles Homeless Shelter Authority’s office (LAHSA) to protest the mistreatment of the women in the shelter by the staff. The women accused the staff of such things as threat of violence by staff and sexual misconduct by the shelter staff.
In downtownLos Angelesalone, 70% of the homeless and disable population have an alcohol and or drug related problem.
Now that many of the cities are trying to attract business back to their downtown areas, such as converting the old buildings and hotels, once populated by those homeless that paid next to nothing to live there, these building and hotels are being converted into condominiums.
The homeless problem that the governments with police sweeps in favor of developers who want to build their condominiums and lofts. These new developments will bring millions in new tax revenue to the cities acrossAmericaand will make these cities more attractive to prospective condominium, tourist and future business such as sporting events, that normally cities wouldn’t even be able to bid on with a homeless problem in the business district, the heart of cities.
Many of the homeless men and women are former law abiding and hardworking citizens with previous occupations ranging from sales, accounting, engineering, plumbing and much more. All are extremely skilled, talented and are from all walks of life and races.
From the 70% that have alcohol and drug related problems, approximately 90% are in a alcohol/drug program or have been. And usually all of the drug programs are situated in the heart of the homeless areas, which make it almost impossible to become and remain clean and sober.
And for those who are clean and sober and those that have tried, its very difficult to land a job with a company that doesn’t understand the problem that the individual had is trying to over come. And when you factor in, little or no recent work history, it makes employment opportunities seem slim.
Now when you consider those who are given the opportunity to go to work, each individual still has issues to deal with pertaining to the use and abuse of alcohol and drugs.
So if a homeless person used and or abused alcohol and drugs for 10 years, it could take that person another 10 years just to heal. Most employers are not will to take on that kind of liability even when the federal government offers employers tax incentives. The risk to the corporation or business is still to great.
Now let’s factor in the alcohol and drugs in today’s society. We have prison systems in every state. Most prisons and jails do not do true rehabilitation. Teaching prisoners a skill and giving them job training does not change their thoughts about alcohol and drugs.
Most crimes that are committed are related to alcohol and drugs.
In fact giving them a skill and job training only provides them with the opportunity to buy more alcohol and drugs.
The prisons systems do not treat the problem of what caused the crime. True rehabilitation starts by treating the mind and more particularly the thoughts of the mind.
So to rehabilitate a person is to show them how to change their thought patterns, from negative to positive.
The prisons systems don’t want their prisoners to changes their thought patterns, because the prison systems have a hidden agenda called “keep coming back, it works because we are working it.” Additionally prisoners make up another commodity that can be sold and bought for the use of the revenue, prisons, politicians and governments.
Americahas private prison systems that have been created, to ease over crowding, so they say, but why is it that these private prison systems have investors.
THE ANSWER:

WHAT DOES GRAMEEDIRSEL TEACH?

To respect the belief systems of others and we use Metaphysics often referred to as Science of Mind, to show that there is One Infinite Mind which of necessity includes all that is, whether it be the intelligence in man, the life in the animal, or the invisible Presence which is God. Tenants will learn to have a spiritual sense of things. This spiritual sense of things is what is meant by the Consciousness of Christ. To be able to discern the spiritual idea back of its physical symbol is to use the mind that Jesus used.
Metaphysics is intensely practical because it teaches us how to use the Mind Principle for definite purposes, such as helping those who are sick, impoverished, or unhappy. Each one of us should learn to become a practitioner of this science, a demonstrator of its Principle, a conscious user of its Power. Power already exists, but the existence of Power is of no particular value to us until we use it. We must not only be conscious of Power, but we must be actively conscious of it. This is one of the first lessons we learn in the Metaphysics or the Science of Mind.
This science is more than mental; it is also spiritual, since we live in a spiritual universe. Metaphysics declares the Truth about this spiritual universe and it also declares the Truth about false belief, considering everything which is opposed to good as an accumulation of human thought, the collective negative suggestion of the race.
Additionally Grameedirsel teaches its tenants definite techniques of universal laws that allow each tenant to free themselves from mental bondages, thus developing and demonstrating on a regular basis to their satisfaction, positive thoughts, right ideas, strong positive actions that produce right conditions.
Our staff understands that addiction is not just limited to alcohol and drugs, but also to any mind altering thing, thought and substance that changes the state of consciousness to that which contradicts the Creator.
Our staff also knows and manifests treatment by addressing the physical, cultural, emotional, economic, and social experiences of each client. Each and every service we offer works to heal our clients and help them see how to use their talents and skills with out using mind altering things, thoughts and substances.

We accept no government funds. But for tenants receiving government funds such as Social Security, Veterans benefits, (no general relief or food stamps) we make sure they are following the federal government rules. Tenants with such incomes as mentioned above will be given the opportunity to do volunteer work at the facility based upon their skill level and stay in the program, or inform the government as the wages they received so that the government can make the appropriate deductions. Tenants receiving government incomes, such as those mentioned above, will be given reduced rents. Tenants not receiving government incomes, such as those mentioned above, will be given jobs based on their skill level, reduced rents and they must show proof of savings at any time requested.
TENANTS WHEN NOT WORKING, WILL ATTEND THE FOLLOWING SELF HELP CLASSES OVER A TWELVE MONTHG PERIOD:
Prayer: A Way of Life-Transforming Your Life One Step At A Time
This class provides the experience of Prayer as divine communication with God through the exploration of: The Power of Prayer; The Qualities of God; The Triune Nature of God; The Creative Process; Affirmative Prayer and the Five Steps of Spiritual Mind Treatment. Give voice to the unique prayer that is poised and ready to be expressed through you as an instrument of the Ineffable. Find out how “one step at a time” is Divine!
Prayer as expanded awareness -Living Life as Prayer Without Ceasing
This class provides the experience of an Expanded Awareness of what Prayer is through the exploration of: The five steps of Affirmative Prayer as identified in everyday life experience; The experience of Prayerful Expression in all things; Blessings and Benedictions, Righteous Rituals and Celebratory Experience. Learn to live the prayer you are yearning to express. Lift it out of your note- books and imprint it on your heart.
Visioning-Discover God’s Vision for your Life
What is God’s Vision for your life? This class is designed to assist you in understanding the Visioning Process as developed by Reverend Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith. You will learn the spiritual principles upon which the visioning process rests. You will also learn the difference between visualization and visioning and why visioning is far superior in living out your life purpose. In the former you access your imagination to bring into manifestation that which you desire. In visioning, you learn to tap into Cosmic Consciousness to discover God’s plan for your life.
Surrendering to your creative power-Tapping into our Inherent Realm of Creativity

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF TWELVE MONTHS?
If a tenant decides to leave prior to graduating (depending on the circumstances) the tenant will not be allowed to return for a period of one year. At such time if the tenant reapplies, future tenancy will be based upon evidence documented in the tenant’s files prior to leaving.
Grameedirsel will continue to allow tenants to remain with the foundation in housing quarters earmarked for the graduates. Tenants can also maintain their current jobs while living in the quarters earmarked for graduates. Tenants will be required to pay rent and purchase their own food while living in the quarters earmarked for graduates. Tenants will have the opportunity to advance into different jobs and management opportunities. Tenants can also participate in profit sharing through stock ownership.

MENS MINISTRY
Grameedirsel challenges men from all walks of life to reach their full potential in knowing the creator. “God” gives us all talents and skills that we must learn to develop. In the men’s ministry we help you to turn those talents and skills into businesses that will benefit you, your family and your community.
We all have different belief systems, but they are similar in some ways. Hence when we learn to live and play together despite our differences, we build a bridge in forging relationships, that over time strengthens and each person, unknowingly to the other is teaching the other a positive quality put in them by “God’ the creator of us all. So whether the men are attending a men’s breakfast, prayer group, discussing and working on future entrepreneurial endeavors or just a few brothers talking over a good cup of soda, tea or coffee, Grameedirsel is dedicated to instilling within men the qualities that transform them into the Godly and prosperous men needed today in the home, community, church and wherever the call of God may take them around the country and perhaps the world.

WOMENS MINISTRY
Grameedirsel ministry for women, just like the men’s ministry challenges women from all walks of life to reach their full potential in knowing the creator. “God” gives us all talents and skills that we must learn to develop. In the men’s ministry we help you to turn those talents and skills into businesses that will benefit you, your family and your community. In Proverbs chapter 31:10-31is the story of an excellent wife, mother and entrepreneurial woman. Read this story and let it motivate you to develop your “God” given talents and skills.
While we all have different belief systems, but they are similar in some ways, women, by men, have not been considered vital to God’s plans as men have. In the women’s ministry we want every women to know that behind every successful man, there is always a good women. And that without the woman, we men would not exist. When women learn to live and play together despite our differences, we build a bridge in forging relationships, that over time strengthens each woman and unknowingly to the other woman, each is teaching the other a positive quality put in them by “God’ the creator of us all. So whether the women are attending a women’s breakfast, prayer group, discussing or working on future entrepreneurial plans or just a few sisters talking over a good cup coffee, Grameedirsel is dedicated to instilling within women the qualities that transform them into the Godly women needed today in the home, business, community, church and wherever the call of God may take them around the country and perhaps the world.

This means more than just your belief system, it means having the necessary knowledge in as many areas as possible to be a leader to your family, business, church, synagogue or mosque and in your community.

GRAMEEDIRSEL’S GOAL
The goal of Grameedirsel is to work with any sitting president of theUnited States of Americato eradicate homelessness inAmerica.
Additionally Grameedirsel intends to open one Grameedirsel Non-Denominational Transitional Living & Employment facility in major city of every state in theUnion.
And to assist the local governments of each state by helping these governments assist as many talented homeless and disable men and women as possible until there is no longer a need for the foundation in such a capacity.
