Only God and the parents of baby Lisa Irwin truely know what happened to the baby infant. We have now approacheed the 30th day since the infant went missing.
Here’s a who’s who list of some key names in the news in the missing baby case:
Deborah Bradley: Mother of baby Lisa. She’s married to, but separated from, Sean Bradley, the father of her 5-year-old son. She lives with Jeremy Irwin, baby Lisa’s father, who also has a son from his prior relationship with Rasleen Raim. Bradley’s and Irwin’s sons live with the couple.
Samantha Brando: Neighbor who allegedly drank wine outside the Bradley-Irwin home with Bradley the night baby Lisa disappeared. Her 3-year-old daughter and baby Lisa’s half-brothers reportedly were in the house watching a movie on TV. Brando reportedly has refused to be interviewed.
Capt. Mark Folsom: Heads the Kansas City Special Victims Unit, of which the Crimes against Children section is part. He’s the KCPD person ultimately responsible for directing the baby Lisa investigation. Folsom avoids the media spotlight.
Ashley Irwin: Jeremy’s sister. She’s a third-year law student. She acted as family spokeswoman early in the investigation and maintains a Facebook page where she posts on the status of the investigation.
Jeremy Irwin: Baby Lisa’s father.
Melanie and Rick Irwin: Baby Lisa’s paternal grandparents.
Lisa Lnu: A neighbor living three doors from Bradley and Irwin. She and her husband spotted a man with a nearly naked baby walking down North Lister Street at 12:15 a.m. Oct. 4 as her husband was leaving for work. Lisa said the man Mike Thompson identified in a similar sighting was not the man she saw. Lisa’s husband has not spoken out publicly.
Mike LeRette: Deborah Bradley’s cousin who lives in Texas.
Anthony Netz: Deborah Bradley’s brother.
David L. Netz Jr.: Baby Lisa’s maternal grandfather.
Phillip Netz: Deborah Bradley’s brother. He accompanied Bradley to Festival Foods on Oct. 4 and was shown with her buying wine and baby supplies in a surveillance video.
Kristi Hoss Schiller: Board member of K9s4cops, Schiller is suspected of but not confirmed to be the “female wealthy benefactor” responsible for hiring Wild Bill by followers of the case. The basis for the suspicion stems from various bits of information including his status on the advisory board of K9s4cops, this tweet record and Stanton’s statement that he met the benefactor through a relative of the family. Bradley’s cousin Mike LeRette lives in Texas and his Twitter account shows communication with Hoss Schiller’s stepson Daniel Schiller shortly after baby Lisa was reported missing.
Cyndy Short: Local counsel representing Bradley and Irwin until conflicts between her and New York-based counsel Joe Tacopina forced her off the case. Short is known for her effective defenses in death penalty cases. She said even though she is no longer representing Bradley and Irwin, she will continue to support the search for baby Lisa.
“Wild Bill” Stanton: A former New York police officer who is acting as a consultant to Bradley and Irwin. News reports said Stanton was hired by an unnamed private benefactor to investigate baby Lisa’s disappearance and Stanton initially announced he would do an independent investigation. But Stanton could not legally work as a private investigator in Missouri because he lacks the required license.
Joe Tacopina: New York-based counsel for Bradley and Irwin. He is known for having represented Joran van der Sloot, a Dutch man suspected in the disappearance of Natalie Holloway who went missing in Aruba in 2005.
John “Jersey” Tanko: A homeless man who does handyman work in the neighborhood where Bradley and Irwin live. He was arrested Oct. 15 on a parole violation. Tanko is the former boyfriend of Megan Wright, who previously rented a home two doors from the abandoned house where police searched for baby Lisa on Oct. 11. Tanko sometimes stayed there. Neighbor Barbara Hoy said she gave Tanko a ride to the house across the street from Bradley and Irwin where he said his buddy lived sometime prior to baby Lisa’s disappearance. Police have cleared Tanko of involvement in baby Lisa’s disappearance.
Mike Thompson: A witness who came forward a week after baby Lisa was reported missing. He said he spotted a man with a nearly naked baby about three miles from the Bradley-Irwin home at 4 a.m. Oct. 4. On Oct. 24, he picked the man he saw out of a photo array shown him by police.
Megan Wright: A call was made from Bradley’s cellphone to Wright’s cellphone between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Oct. 3. Wright claims not to have answered the call or to have knowledge of its contents, saying she lives with seven people and her phone was community property. She also claims not to know Bradley and Irwin but says she is familiar with their neighborhood. HLN broadcast Monday night that Wright said police told her Bradley had Wright’s telephone number written on her hand the night of Lisa’s disappearance. Bradley has said her cellphone was not working when baby Lisa disappeared, having been turned off for nonpayment.
Capt. Steve Young: Kansas City police department spokesman.
