Who is “Wild Bill” Stanton? Here is some background information.
“Wild Bill” Stanton is investigating the disappearance of baby Lisa Irwin in Kansas City, Mo., missing since the night of Oct. 3. The latest news revolves around a former lawyer for the baby’s parents who quit in a dispute with another lawyer. No firm leads have led to any breakthroughs in the case. Even after four weeks, nothing has turned up and the baby has not been found.

Stanton used his elite bouncer status to become famous. Eventually, he found his way to MSNBC as a “private security consultant.” Stanton used the series “Watching Your Back” to gain popularity. Stanton used a huge brick to break into a car, found ways into hotel rooms and climbed up a ladder to infiltrate someone’s apartment.
Former Police Officer
MSNBC reported Stanton used to be a New York police officer. He started in 1984 and then realized police work was harder than it seemed. Stanton fell and hurt himself chasing down a burglary suspect in 1987. At that point, he became a private investigator.
New York Magazine reported Stanton owns rare guns and was trained by combat instructor Pat Rogers, an internationally known man who has trained security forces for foreign dignitaries. Stanton turned into a bouncer at posh clubs such as the China Club.
Stanton isn’t shy and doesn’t hide his personality. He makes a seven-figure income and his services aren’t cheap. How he came into the services of a struggling working-class family in Kansas City is still a mystery.
Lisa Irwin Case
Fox4KC.com reports an anonymous donor has paid for Stanton’s services in order to try to find baby Lisa alive. He became involved in the case Oct. 12, just over a week after the 11-month old disappeared. Stanton has been seen consulting with the family away from the house where the baby vanished.
After taking a brief hiatus, Stanton came back to Kansas City on Saturday, according to KMBC. It wasn’t until Monday that Stanton got his first look at the inside of Deborah Bradley’s house, the one from where her daughter Lisa was taken.
MSNBC reports Stanton asserts the next door neighbor who witnessed someone carrying a baby at 12:15 a.m. Oct. 4 needs to be looked into further. The high-profile private investigator also believes someone came into the house through a door or window to snatch the baby.
