Lisa Irwin has been missing for more than three weeks. The blond-haired, blue-eyed 10-month-old baby girl was laid down for the night in her crib and hasn’t been seen again. Although law enforcement have worked nonstop on the investigation, the search seems to be leading nowhere. The following is a timeline of what has taken place since Lisa’s disappearance:
October 4 — Lisa is reported missing by her father, Jeremy Irwin, upon his return from work at 4:00 a.m. He says the front door was unlocked, many lights were on, and a window was open. An Amber Alert is issued for the child. Police and FBI agents begin to conduct an extensive search for the missing infant in nearby areas. Nothing is found.
October 5 — Police hold a briefing but reveal little new information. Dogs join in on the search. Teams search the families’ home for about an hour. Lisa’s parents hold a press conference pleading for their daughter’s safe return. They reveal that their cell phones are also gone.
October 6 — Police continue their search of local areas including manholes and forests. Police announce in an evening press conference that the Irwins are no longer cooperating with law enforcement. A family member issues a statement disputing that they have stopped cooperating.
October 7 — Lisa’s parents appear on ABC’s “Good Morning America” to respond to the police’s claim that they are no longer cooperative in the search for their daughter. Deborah Bradley, Lisa’s mother, also reveals police told her she failed a polygraph test. Law enforcement continue to canvas the local area and focus on a nearby landfill.
October 9 — Police officers perform a re-enactment of the possible abduction at the home.
October 10 — Investigators return to the home and search the backyard, a neighbor’s backyard, and woods in the vicinity.
October 11 — Ashley Irwin, baby Lisa’s aunt, appears on “Good Morning America.” She says that Deborah Bradley is preparing to be arrested. A well found near the Irwin’s property is searched. A P.I. also begins an investigation into Lisa’s disappearance.
October 14 — The private investigator, Bill Stanton, announces a $100,000 reward in the case. A private benefactor has put up the money. Stanton explains his role as a consultant to the Irwin family.
October 17 — Deborah Bradley returns to “GMA” and drops a bombshell. She had been drunk the night her daughter disappeared. Bradley maintains that she did hurt her daughter and does not know what happened to her. Deborah also changes the last time she saw Lisa from 10:30 p.m. to four hours earlier at 6:30. The family hires a lawyer.
October 19 — Police receive a search warrant and return to the home. The family is barred from returning to their house. Documents from an earlier search reveal a cadaver dog had a positive result for a deceased body in the parent’s bedroom.
October 23 — A vigil is held for baby Lisa. Her parents and their lawyer attend the event.
October 26 — Police announce that they will re-interview Lisa’s brothers. The boys have not been questioned since brief interviews soon after their sister disappeared. Law enforcement also plans to take DNA samples
